Birth Year
A graphic exploration of the years that become part of who we are.
Birth Year began with the beauty of Modernia Regular and the possibilities I saw in its numerical forms. The shapes of the typeface invited experimentation: overlapping, intersecting, rearranging, and combining numbers into unexpected compositions.
From this exploration came the idea of working with birth years. Four numbers that may appear ordinary on their own can hold an entire personal story.
The year we were born. The year someone important entered our lives. A beginning, a milestone, or a memory we want to keep.
Each piece explores the relationship between typography, geometry, and color, transforming a year into an abstract composition with its own balance, rhythm, and character. Together, the posters form an evolving visual system where experimentation and personal meaning meet.
What starts as four numbers becomes a graphic story.
